Stats Chippac (e company which I'm attached 2 currently) held another X'mas Party at SAFRA Country Club on the 22nd which falls on a Friday! This time, e party was open for every1 in e company to participate.. they'll nid 2 pay $10 each to join the event. 4 nbc and me, manager Seah paid 4 us! =P He's a nice manager i muz say.. nv throw temper b4.. always smilin.. Yup, we're workin under him.. back to e topic! As part of the HR member, we were asked to help out wif the decoration at 1 of e ballroom at SAFRA.. Thou e party starts at 11:30.. we head off ard 09:00, brought all e props and gifts which were to b used for games and lucky draw later on at e event.
We get our hands busy upon reachin the venue, blew up lots of balloons, decorate e x'mas tree beside the stage.. light up the candles and place them nicely on the table.. arrange the gifts and prizes in an orderly manner.. everythin was almost ready ard 11:00 when e ppl workin at SAFRA came tellin us tat the air-con in tat particular ballroom is NOT functionin at e veri last minute!! =O *jaw dropped! Lao Ban Niang aka Valerie was reali furious when she realised e situation! (can see frm her face) so we had 2 shift & RE-DECORATE everythin everythin again in another room! managed 2 rush & finish everythin ard 11:20.. phew..

Carolers doin last minute vocal trainin b4 e Party starts.. & yuppy yup, they're all ready 2 brin "Joy to the World"! Santa Claus tryin 2 "qiang jing tou" there... pleadin, "Can I b e conductor s well.. pls..?"
Manager Sherry's elder son! he enjoyed playin wif the dry ice.. lil Santa's name? Ryan!
The party was hosted by emcee KK! (e guy wif the contagious laughter).. Valerie gave some speech b4 the carolers sang e Christmas songs.. food were served s buffet kind.. e portion was far too lil for 160+ of us! Valerie felt cheated coz lookin at e amount of food, e portion was so lil tat we can onli hav 100 ppl eattin instead! and without the 2nd or perhaps 3rd round of food...
Had some games b4 they head 4 e food... veri spontaneous ppl they have in e company i muz say.. okie, roughly xplain how 1 of e game goes..
1. Each table were 2 send 1 representative to stand on the chair, n try 2 get e followin items in e shortest time. =)
2. Get 1 handkerchief (specifically onli guy's handkerchief) place it on e right shoulder of e representative.
3. Tie a row of 15cm TOILET PAPER on e head (team members ran ard frantically 2 e nearest toilet 2 get them) can imagine e room was in a chaos la!
4. Wif 2 $50 notes hangin side by side on their head. (lo.oked like Ah Siao) $_$
5. Hold a DBS credit card
6. Lastly, a strand of WHITE hair!
*TA DA!! 1 of e representative here! tee hee.. if u find tis guy familiar.. mayb he's ur uncle or sumthin.. strike off e "Ah Siao" s mention at e 4th point above ya.. =X
it's time 4 Lucky Draw~ 33rd prize 2 e 1st.. NBC won himself e 29th prize, a basket full of biscuits! HAHA~
Catherine, Ruffina & Seah won some prizes 2! I was quite lucky thou.. got e 12th prize! which is a.......

The Party came 2 an end ard 14:00.. everybody left.. HR members were 2 clear all e stuff tats left behind... was about 2 leave n head back 2 company when Lao Ban Niang had a quarrel wif 1 of e banquet's Manager.. he actuali used e "F" word on Valerie.. wah! tis GAY(shall call him gay coz he used the word on a lady).. Valerie wanted an apology frm him, but he threatened to quit his job 2day n left hidin behind e kitchen... until 1 1/2 hrs later when they called the Chief Executive down (imagine the 22 of HR ppl sittin there waitin 4 an apology.. -.-"), he himself look like 1 BIG HEI SE HUI LAO DA! and e stupid GAY finally apologised 2 Valerie after 2 hrs of waitin..
We head back 2 company and Valerie bought a log cake for us! 2nd log cake i had in this company!
